Death Stranding

We all wondered what Hideo Kojima's next game would be after he left Konami, but we didn't see this coming. Now, he's doing something totally new with Death Stranding, with which he has complete creative freedom. And I think it's safe to say that the game shows promise of being one of the most thought provoking ones we've seen in a while. Even in a short trailer, Kojima can wow you and hide symbolic details in each second. Just one example of symbolism was the black goo spreading from the undead WW2-looking soldiers out of the tunnel; another was when cords appeared that attached the soldiers to a mysterious modern soldier. Gah!  I think we have a masterpiece heading our way. The release is said to be in 2018 sometime, so it's probably going to be a while before we'll get to play it. But signs indicate that it should be worth the wait.
